to Receive the Lowest Negotiated Prices
Though
hospitals rarely post their prices, when they do provide
a price it is a "list price" that virtually
no one actually pays. Third party administrators,
HMOs, and large companies routinely negotiate with
hospitals in order to get the lowest price available.
When you have a high deductible, making sure you are
receiving the lowest negotiated price will save you
hundreds or thousands of dollars.
